Rhone von Rhodes is a stunning 3.5-year-old, long-haired German Shepherd. Gorgeous Rhone is looking for a shepherd-experienced home. He lost the only home he's ever known when his family moved, and we were told that he was good with his people, is housebroken, crate-trained and knows some commands. As typical of some shepherds, he can be shy or unsure with new people and protective of his home.  At the rescue he can be shy initially and uncertain about some touch. Once comfortable, he enjoys having his head rubbed, hanging out next to you, and might lean on you for affection. He is a pro on leash and will stay close to you. Beautiful Rhone meets other dogs great and walks nicely next to them. In fact, their presence appears to relax him. Rhone showed himself a very social and friendly chap in playgroups: although he entered with a rather shy attitude, he did great meeting everybody. A few minutes after the introductions, he was wagging his tail and exploring the yard. This gorgeous boy is ready to make your home complete.
